Verizonguy - Sprint Touch WAP for VzW, MMS config verification needed please
 

If you get a chance, just trying to verify settings for VZW WAP and MMS as well as registry so I can make custom ROM for Touch for VzW users. I know this is not the Touch forum but your PM was full and I figured you would check this forum more.

I have successfully made several custom clean and simple ROMs for the Sprint Touch (CDMA Vogue) for Cricket and Sprint.

My Cricket ROMs have working MMS incoming and outgoing using Arcsoft 3.0.26.11c.

I have to manually create X-Cricket-MDN and add 10-digit MDN as value. Am I correct in assuming VZW is X-VzW-MDN and 10-digit-phone?

Are you simple or mobile ip? What's the WAP config? Anything else I need to know?

verizon doesnt have the touch...im confused on what youre making it for. and yes, its X-VzW-MDN and the phone number.

I know VzW doesn't carry the Touch. But since I've been able to take the Sprint core the Touch and build a 100% working custom ROM for Cricket Wireless, I figured it would be possible to use that same core to make a working ROM with incoming and outgoing MMS, WAP, voice, and text, for VzW users. I had planned on trying to add some of the VzW extrom and .cabs as well so some verizon apps would be useable. That way those who wished to buy the Touch as phone only could then unlock the SPC, change it to 000000, and use it on Verizon.

I needed to get VzW settings for all WAP and MMS and whatever registry other things that I need to make it work. Both my personal phones are on Sprint or Cricket so while I know they differ from VzW settings, I don't know exactly how they differ. And without that, I can't properly make the changes to make a working ROM for the Sprint Touch to be used on VzW.
