FTouchFlo shouldn't have conflicts with HTC Task Manager, at least not 1.5. The reason WMP is opening is because FTouchFlo has gesture opening commands. By default, sliding your finger up from the bottom of the screen opens Windows Media Player. Go to your Windows directory and find the file Ftouchfloconfig.txt. Edit it with word to choose which apps you want which gestures to open, or delete all links if you don't want to open any applications by accident.

Oh... Well cool! That solves part of it. Now I just need to figure out why it keeps hanging...

Well... here's what I've done now.. and it seems to work great, except for www.youtube.com in classic mode. I've removed HTC Task Manager even though I like it, AND FTouchFlo from the rom. I flashed the new rom and then installed SPB Pocket Plus 4 into system memory. I only included scrolling and core files (this includes "X" close). This seems to work without conflict, aside from hanging Youtube. Not sure why this happens. Other websites scroll just fine and the x closes all files. I'll live with this until someone comes up with a better solution.

I decided that even after editing the _FTouchFloconfig.txt file that the scrolling app wasn't as fast (and I didn't see panning) so I had to let it go.

SPB has a good thing going here... wish they would just package the scrolling feature by itself for purchase. I'd be all over it.

I believe I read somewhere that this is caused by Flash Player. I think you tube will still open with Flash Lite installed. Try building ROM wiithout either flash program and see if problem resolves. Put them back in one at a time and see which one is the problem. I had this problem and I figured out that the flash programs take up too much space and I don't think I need them anyway. Let me know I may be missing something cool but I have not seen a use for flash on the apache.

Ok, here's an update... Removed Flash and Flash Lite from the rom and that solved the YouTube problem. Now I've discovered another interesting little quirk, totally unrelated I'm sure and will probably require a new thread in a different location. When I reply to a txt mssg or start a new one, upon completion of the message and after hitting send, it brings up the phone dialer program. Anybody else experiencing this? It's not major, but kinda lame to have to exit out of it every time.

Thanks for the tip GA Medic works great now.

And thank you to everyone else who's information has helped a great deal!

This has been discussed quite a bit in the bug threads. It's due to a combination of using HTC Task Manager 2.0 and Vogue dialer. Build again with only one of those and the problem will go away.

Well then it must just be Vogue dialer, or maybe Vogue Dialer and something else, because I don't have Task Manager on my rom anymore...

I had the same popup dialer but only with the touch dialer. I've left it out of builds since, and had no problem with the others. It seems to be the dialer itself, and the HTC home just makes it happen in more apps.

My 2 cents....

OK how about this--it's due to a combination of the Vogue dialer and certain task-closing apps. I don't believe it will happen if you're not running software to close apps out (at least it never did for me).

I recommend just using the Touch skin instead.
