HTC Task Manager

Anyone know how to make a shortcut to the HTC Task Manager? It is located under settings and not programs. I cant find a .lnk associated with it.
Any ideas?

THANKS!

Froader, assuming you've got the task manager app built into a kitchen-based rom....
Use Total Commander or the native File Explorer to navigate to TaskManagerApp.exe in the \Windows folder, then create a shortcut in the \Windows\Start Menu\Programs folder. To create a shortcut:
In TC, select the file, then menu/File/>>>>(A)/create shortcut - then specify path to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs folder.
In FE, click and hold the file, then Copy; navigate to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs folder; Menu/Edit/Paste Shortcut.
Have fun. tmb

ARRGH !!! I've been wondering how to create a shortcut with Total Commander!
I wonder why the makers of the program didn't make it a "click+hold" command?
Thnx for the tip btw!

I would assume they did it for the application for the application to have the abilty to be used on smartphones as well. Just an easier approach than making two different versions.

Well, after I posted I figured this out. For some reason I couldnt find the executable for the task manager. I tried the total commander route but found that using the regular file manager was easier.
Somehow I didnt see a past shortcut in TC...

Copy \Windows\TaskmanagerApp.exe
paste shortcut \Windows\Start Menu\Programs
Once it is in there you can put it in the start menu and\or the HTC home plug-in.
I like to make activeSync exclusive so when you open the program you just click stop all.
