Verizon is showing a new update coming soon for the Trophy to fix some issues with the radio...

The rollout upgrades the radio to provide "improved data connectivity in certain scenarios when Connection Setup application is installed.

Note: If you tried to use Connection Setup with Mango on the Trophy, you would lose 3G access totaly and only a hard reset would get it back, I learned this first hand

Verizon is getting ready to roll out a firmware update for their HTC Trophy. The rollout upgrades the radio to provide "improved data connectivity in certain scenarios when Connection Setup application is installed." Little other detail is provided, nor a date in which the update will be made available. The instructions simply note that users will receive a notification on their handsets. No, Verizon would not let you tether with out charging you...

that sucks you cannot tether on it, i know verizon android devices you can. not bashing just surprised you cannot do it.

@fixxxer2008 I can tether on my HD7 just fine and its included free in my plan. T-mobile is probably the only carrier that lets one legally tether for free.
