Thank you for your time and effort!
Will you post the ROM you cooked ? What's new in this one compared to 23089 ?

Oh, and, as for that bug. That's 6.5.1. It's up to Chef's like you to try and find a solution

Someone else can mirror it -- Or I'll do it when I get home.

Re: 6.5.3: 28004

Hi,

Can someone point me to a website with a easy tutorial for n00bs who want to cook their first 6.5 ROM using the packages in this thread? I have downloaded and extracted everything, but I have no idea where to start.

Thx.

Slowly getting somewhere now, but I have a question WRT the two entries above. Are the paths correct, or do you mean the following?:

\SYS\28004\dpi_128\COMMON\Base_DPI_128\
\SYS\28004\SHARED\COMMON\Shell\

Also, I noticed that there is no 28004 SYS directory. Should I just rename the 28002 SYS to 28004, or should I source the SYS files from somewhere else, like this archive (PRB_II_WM6.5_28004.7Z), for example?

Sorry for the n00b questions.

Thx,
Brett.

I have the 28002 dirs only because I had downloaded and unzipped your previous kitchen.

The 28004_GSM_CDMA.rar file only contains the following SYS directories:
  • dpi_128
  • dpi_128_resh_320_resv_320
  • SHARED
Just using the files that you provided and the kitchen from NightRaven, I end up with a number of errors when loading the kitchen and selecting the device:
  1. "You need to specify the 'EXT Build' first!!!" - due to the fact that the EXT directory only contains PANT100\COMMON and no version specific directory (eg. 28004).
  2. Could not find a part of the path 'C:\ROM_Kitchen\EXT\SHARED' - this directory is also missing from the package.
Could it be that I am missing a package or something?

PS: Appreciate all your efforts and your help.

Thx,
Brett.

Re: 6.5.3: 28004

No, I think I packaged it wrong or something... I'm at work right now so I can't do much.
Let me figure it out. I'm home in a few hours.
You could just move the SYS folder contents from the zip into a 28004 folder
So it'd be Kitchen\Sys\28004\SHARED\
etc.
