[12-07-08] GSM Touch Pro Radios ***NOT FOR CDMA VERSIONS***

***These are ONLY to be used on the GSM version of the Touch Pro, NOT the CDMA versions***

...In other words, these are for the AT&T Fuze or an unlocked GSM Touch Pro, NOT for Sprint or Verizon.

Before flashing any radio to your device, please make sure your device has HardSPL by OliNex.

Flashing a new Radio ROM using CustomRUU, doesn't hard reset your device... But, if you are novice at the whole process, I would consider backing up your data anyway, just incase.

The same rules apply flashing a radio as they do a ROM, your device needs to have a battery charged to 50% or over.

Make sure when you flashing radio's, you use the one that works best for you, a radio that performs well for one person may not nescessarily work good for you.

Read the thread first before asking "trouble shooting" questions, they may have been answered already.

----------------------------------------------------- Diamond & Blackstone Radio's --------------------------------------------------------------

It is possible to flash Diamond & Blackstone Radio's, on the Raphael.
Before it's possible to so however, your device needs to be Security Unlocked which, you can get information about here.

The Diamond Radio Thread

Information on editing the Diamond radio to work on your Raphael is here.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Information from this thread can be found on XDA as well here. I'm just relaying the information to this site, I can't take credit for any of the information or the radios.

Working Radios From Other Devices

***PLEASE NOTE YOUR DEVICE "MUST" BE SECURITY UNLOCKED TO BE ABLE TO FLASH THESE RADIOS***

Diamond Radio 1.08.25.08 (New - 11/23/08)

Xperia Radio 1.06.25.29 (New - 11/28/08)

Quartz Radio 1.09.25.13 (New - 11/28/08)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To get security unlocked, please see this thread by Olipro on XDA.

The "SECURITY UNLOCK" is different to SIM Lock and HardSPL.
The way to identify if your device is "SECURITY UNLOCKED" is if it says "Security Unlocked" in the TRI Colour Bootloader Screen.

Unless you know him, you have to pay to get the unlock program (which is tied to your IMEI number, so you can't share it).

The direct link to the unlocker is here. I paid to have mine security unlocked and I can vouch that this program is legit and works.

Re: GSM Touch Pro Radios

So far I've been using the Blackstone Radio 1.09.25.14 radio and it seems to be the best for me. I haven't tested all of them, but out of the 4 or 5 that I've tried I seem to get 1-2 bars more out of this radio than the others.

Re: GSM Touch Pro Radios

These are radios that can be used with the GSM version of the Touch Pro (AT&T, etc), NOT the CDMA (Verizon/Sprint) versions.

While the majority of users here are CDMA users, there are some GSM users.
