Hi Karl

I think Deck or Kush Deck at XDA has some good roms for the Nexus S. Also, pm Wmdunn here at geeks. He has alot of good insight into this device and knows alot of good chefs from xda.

Hey Karl and Dave ... some of the top developers are Adam G with his Oxygen series, Peter Alfonso's Bugless Beast roms, and of course the Cyanogen team. I prefer GB, but there is a wide selection of ICS, based on the leaked 4.04 from Sprint. Let me know if you would like some links.

Re: Top Developers

Here you go ...

Latest Oxygen - http://download.oxygen.im/roms/updat...S4G-signed.zip

Pete's Bugless Beast - http://wonderly.com/bb/CRESPO4G/ROM/...g_12-07-11.zip

Cyanogen - Goo-inside.me Downloads - Downloading update-cm-7-02252012-NIGHTLY-crespo4g-signed.zip

You will need google apps for Cyanogen (gapps is included in all others) - Goo-inside.me Downloads - Downloading gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip

And my favorite, DevNull by Renan - http://download.oxygen.im/roms/cresp...1.1-signed.zip

There are several custom kernels, but after trying them all ... my favorite is one of Franco's, which I have attached below.

Voodoo colors are a way to adjust the color intensity and gamma on the Nexus S screen. There are no shortages of opinion. My personal opinion is that the original settings that come with the Sprint Nexus S are very good, and when combined with a great kernel such as Franco's ... more than enough for a great looking screen. By the way, all this is affected by the brightness control in settings ... I keep mine with "auto off", and the slider about 35-40%.

Re: Top Developers

Sure ... you could extract them from the d/l urls. The Oxygen and DevNull roms are available at Oxygen Forum ... Bugless Beast is at Peter Alfonso ... and Cyanogen Mod is in several places, but I like to use goo-inside.me.
