Re: how do you disable all the crap-ware on the nexus?

Right now I'm at 220Mb free after a reboot, with all the crap services running at startup lol.

yeah i'm at about that, whats funny is when your soft reset all the programs show up in the running programs lists but i don't think they are actually running. Then when i stop them all i got up to 245 or so.

Yeah same here. But on mine, something was running because my GPS turned on after I soft reset and I didn't have anything running except for those background startup apps. Once I killed everything not in my ignore list it turned off.

Maybe its a widget, for instance i have the weather widget that looks like htc's weather and time widget, that has to access gps so it can find my location and display the correct weather for the city i'm in. But that exact same thing happens to me sometimes.
