Ok... WTF???
 

Im starting to feel deja vous all over again with these HTC phones. When I hold my phone at a certain angle its like the phone just goes haywire... i cant take and the screen is jumping around..On top of that my battery life is terrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrible...:angry7:

Sorry for that. My nexus is great.. screen don't go any more wacky than my other touch screens, a simple screen of and on fixes it like any other touch screen....happens maybe like every week once or so...

Shoot tp2 keyboard would stop working or go wacky. A quick restart fixed that...

Battery life is also very good unless I got that background data crap on, then it drained quick....

Also to many widgets updating will be bad for battery..

My take is, there's always gonna be issues with stuff. Nothonf will never be perfect...

Like today my woman's new laptop needed restarted due to the multigestures not working on the touch pad.... it happens, and will continue on electronics....

Name any phone that don't got wonky shit...lol

Did you root and install the newest radio update? I hear thats causing some issues..

All I did was install the OTA update that was supposed to fix the 3G thing and my phone has been acting screwy ever since. Like if im holding the phone at a 45 degree angle the screen will just wack out.. and the buttons on the bottom of the screen... to touch them id have to touch like a half inch above where they actually were on the screen to get a response. I sent it back and should be getting another one soon... if I have the same issues with this one i'm never buying another htc phone. I had issues with every single one of them ive had.

That rules out a lot of smartphones... but I don't blame ya, how ya get it resolved

why would you hold your phone at 45 deg? huh, not sure i have ever left mine in that position. i can only imagine winmo would have a conniption fit if i did though, haha.

generally issues like that should not be hardware specific, especially if it started after a software update. is there anyway you can adjust the g sensor sensitivity? or maybe do a hard reset after you did that ota? i am not familiar with android though so just throwin ideas out there...

i planning on getting this phone when vzw gets it. hope my screen does whack out like that. does your new one do it?

Im not dealing with it... clearly the phone had some hardware issues centered around the accelerometer. Paid the restocking fee and got the rest of my money back... ill just wait until something else comes out later.
