How the hell do I search for a specific app
 

I know the app I want, but how can I search for it in the Marketplace, seems like a basic feature but I can't find it.

Go To Marketplace, then click on the Search Icon, it will go to Search Marketplace.

Note: You can also search for Music/Video as well.. Go to Zune, then use Search Icon

its the same as the hardware search button. but since u have an hd2 it may be the button u mapped that too.

OHHH, the hardware button works? lol.

I have my windows key mapped as search so that should work for me.

btw, I am really liking NoDo these days, my HD2 is seeing more WP7 and less Android.

why have that key as search and not the end call key? seems out of sequence (back,home,search)

phone key is used as answer call - voice control (long press), then next to it is the home key, then next to that is the search key, then next to that is the end-call key which I use as screen off/ end call.

I wanted to have the buttons fit their icons, and the "windows key" is vague enough to be a good search key. The home key makes sense as the home key...


I basically removed the dedicated camera key, I don't really see the purpose of a hardware mapped camera key anyways,

Hardware camera key = good for two-stage autofocus.

Yeah but that doesn't work on the HD2, so we cook in another camera app that works better and we can turn off the camera shutter sound too :)
