Volume where? The headphones or speaker/earpiece . Seems that every question I see asked about this no matter the phone, its the speaker/earpiece where the volume increase is needed rather than headphones which needed it too (at least on the tp and tp2 is the case) good thing my arrive is louder with headphones than my tp2 did (even with audiopara tweaks)

Using the Phone the Earpiece and the Headphones there is no problem with the Volume at all. The only problem is with the Rear Speaker Only.

I installed SlingPlayer Mobile on Both Sprint HTC Touch Pro2 and Sprint HTC Arrive. I used the Headphones on both of them playing a DVD in my DVD Player. I did not notice ANY difference between the 2 phones using the Headphones at all. Using the Rear Speaker on both the phones for the second test, there was a HUGE difference. The Sprint HTC Touch Pro2 has a LOUD Rear Speaker. The Sprint HTC Arrive has a VERY LOW Rear Speaker.

I don't know if it's the Sprint HTC Arrive, Windows Phone 7, SlingPlayer Mobile for Windows Phone 7, or any combination of them all that is the problem.

I'm guessing I'm in the minority when I say I have no problem with the loudness of the speaker. To me even 1 is a little too loud for my taste when doing a little Netflix in a public setting. But coming from a Vogue might be why I feel that way. ;-)

Re: HTC Arrive Volume

My problem is that when I watch a video at the gym the volume on the video is way too low and I can barely hear it (using headphones provided) when the volume is already maxed out at 30.

Is there a way to reconfigure/refilter a video to enhance the volume? I used to be able to use Smartmovie Converter to do this but Zune no longer recognizes these files....
