Windows Phone 7 true multitasking, SkyDrive and IE9
 

Not sure why this hasn't been reported on PPCGeeks yet since this is a few weeks old but I just came across this from MWC 2011 where they demo what's coming in an update for all WP7 devices sometime in 2011. True multitasking, Skydrive syncing, the new IE9 browser. The multitasking looking like it's been implemented fairly well to me.

edit: sorry, I was looking this up on Youtube and got CES mixed up with MWC. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DHMH...eature=related Here's the keynote speech where they actually annouce the multitasking. The first link I posted just shows the 3 things all in one video so that's why I posted it and hadn't seen it posted up here so I thought people that hadn't seen this would be interested in hearing it.

I guess you didn't watch WMC for WP7 news like a halk like I did :mrgreen: If you find it, Ballmer's speach is worth watching and they go into a lot of detail about the features.

Windows Phone 7 is going to be a lot bigger than it is now. Once true multi-tasking and Hardware accerated IE9 come, even the iPhone or Android won't even be able to keep up. SO far it looks pretty epic and I can't wait to get my WP7 phone...

since this is my area i am trying to weed that issue out but i cant read every post so this is why ppcg has a "report button" but some people dont use it and get mad and reply by flaming someone and thats not gonna work either so please use the button.
