Re: Best Windows 7 phone

The Omnia 7 comes with a processor running at 1 GHz and a 5MP camera and regulation. The interesting change here is that Samsung chose AMOLED, rather than LCD technology. Other implementations of Nice include an FM radio, recording 720p HD video and 1500mAh battery should not be too bad ..

Re: Best Windows 7 phone

my personal reviews.. hd7 viewing angles reviews were bad. surround effect was not worth the weight. venue pro form factor especially vertical key board did not appeal to me. LG's photo quality reviews were bad.

I went for focus coz it sold me on Super Amoled, not small not big 4 inch screen. quality of camera. However bit plasticky was really to the extent of holy plastic!!!. I dropped the phone right on the second day.. if you got to go for focus, be prepared to handle it gently.

I will be missing keyboard however could not wait until tp3.. and was not sure about the config whether i will like it or not.

However i am happy with the purchase switching from TP2, it feels me differently. HTC's build quality is good however weight was my concern. Focus is slim and light. Screen is gorgeous. build quality is poor.

Being plastic does not mean poor build quality..for a device to be "Good" build quality would require it to be fully metal..if tis not fully metal and a hybrid of plastic and metal, when you drop the phone the added weight will break the plastic...on the other hand fully plastic makes it lighter and actually less likely to break...its simple physics...

agree. being plastic does not mean poor build. i meant they should have considered the slippery side of it and done something about it.

I have been able to use my surround for a few days now.... I am loving it. I just wish that this application that is like tapatalk had a landscape mode.

Sent from my HTC Surround using Board Express Pro for WP7.

Re: Best Windows 7 phone

I have an LG Optimus 7 - great phone - AWESOME build quality... excellent marketplace apps... pretty darn good screen... I don't need a keyboard with the way the onscreen keyboard works - Microsoft did that good of a job.

With all that stated the Samsung Focus has the most sexual appeal of any WP7 device. As soon as you see it there's nothing that comes close to the way the screen shines. It's not a particularly acurate screen but good lord is it saturatedly beautiful.

yeah, the problem is that the s amoled screen is causing problems in some of the apps like netflix where people are complaining about the colors.

I guess "problem" would mean that it works but they don't like the way saturation works? It works fine - the colors are not accurate but it does look pretty good IMO.
