Re: Anyone Else feel WM7 will be a flop?

I think W7 will pack a huge punch. Just look at the system requirements.
Zune software built in...
Nothing but goodness.
Especially after all the fixes are released... lol.

lets hope....i just hope it brings something that is as fluid as the iphone with the ease of use as an android phone....i just felt that 6.5 went in the right direction in the form of kinetic scrolling and more finger friendly

I'm a "I'll believe it when I see it". I won't say it sucks or rules till it comes out. Microsoft has a terrible reputation but they do have a pretty decent track record of delivering the goods.

Re: Anyone Else feel WM7 will be a flop?

Just wondering what people think WM7 will have that Android wont have either before of very soon after. Open source means that every Tom **** and Harry can program for it. Then what? look forward to WM8...?

Re: Anyone Else feel WM7 will be a flop?

This is just my opinoin but I thinks wm7 was going to roll out this year as something close to 6.5. Then MS finally realised how much market share they were loosing and decided to call it 6.5. I have complete faith that ms is going to put out something great but I'm not niaeve enough to think that they've been working on this os for three years and running.

And thats the whole idea behind my theory. Why would they spend the time to build a whole new os in 6.5 two years after wm7 was announced. They had to buy some time to put together a real upgrade that justifies 6 to 7.
