Save Sent Messages?

No matter how I set it up, Save Sent Messages only works for my texts.

-I've tried ActiveSync & IMAP.
-I've tried provisioning xml & setting up new Email from scratch.
-I use Gmail
-syncing all other folders works fine.

Am I missing something or is this par-for-the-course in WinMo?
TIA
-Steve

for email?
I know texts are threaded, so thats different and yeah, MyPhone works great for that.
But, I remember, way back, when I first got a WM phone, emails that I sent would actually be copied into the "Sent" folder on my phone.
-You think It's it just Gmail w/IMAP? How the folders on the phone are all labels and not actually the gmail folders?

I believe you there is a setting where you can enable this so that your sent e-mails are saved to the sent folder.. I am unsure how to configure this option, but I will look and see if I can do it. I'll post if I figure out how
