When will cell phone manufacturers get it?

We do want iPhone clones, or something even better.

Stop giving us 3.2 inch screens, THEY ARE TOO SMALL for touch screen only devices. Give us 3.6 at the min!

Stop reusing old processors, HERO comes to mind in particular. The Pre and iPhone are great in this category.

Stop giving us CRAPPY keyboards. I used a Pre a few days ago and you know it's bad when my thumb covers almost half the keyboard.

FLASHFLASHFLASH in a camera, always leave it in.

We love multi touch and other gimmicks!

that is all, sorry for this rant

True, the iPhone hardware is pretty damn good. It's Apple that ruins it, all the things I dont like about the iPhone are things that could be fixed if Apple wasnt so controlling. Things like multitasking, Flash support (skyfire), themes and customiziation and more are all very possible given the phones hardware, it's all just locked out by Apple :(.

Manufacturers like HTC and Samsung and Microsoft are starting to get it finally though. We are very close to finally getting the phones we want. The Touch Pro2, Omnia2, Whitestone, Leo, and a few others are getting really close finally. The TP2 would have been it if it werent for the dead pixel issues and the lack of a flash and proper 3d drivers. I'm pretty anxious to actually try the Omnia2 if it comes out in November as rumored. It has a 5MP camera with flash, 800MgHz processor, 3.7" AMOLED WVGA screen, 2d and 3d acceleration, records video in HD (720p) and you can even use up to a 32gb micro sd to suppliment the 16gb internal storage space for a total of 48gb :headbang:.
