htc hero rom on tmobil g1?
 

does anyone know where I can find a fast, smooth Hero rom to run on a tmobil g1? I know there's not much android talk on here but I'm trying to help a friend out by getting a good hero rom on his rig so he's not rocking cupcake and being bored with his phone till he gets a new one. Anyone know of a rom and how the hell to do it?


(all of my knowledge is on WM devices, I don't know $#%^ about android)

yeah I saw some of that, but I was under the impression there were many different roms (like the bazillion 6.5 roms we have) and I don't want to just grab a random rom without having a good selection to choose from with Pros and Cons, I haven't found any android forums as well organized and easy to view/download as PPCgeeks, but Ill keep searching.
