Transfer Mp3 files to Windows folder how to?

I would appreciate some help people. I'm trying to figure out how to transfer my MP3 files from my micro SD card to a Windows folder so that I can use them as a ringtone. I'm thinking I might need a program to achieve that? If so anyone have a link or post a cab? Thanks in advance....!!!

You can either use a program called Activesync that should be on the CD that came with your device. If not you can download it from Microsft's site. It will allow you to transfer files to/from your device and PC, but it can be slow with mp3 transfers. Another way is to buy a SDCard reader for your PC and get a MicroSD to SD adapter and transfer the files that way. It is much faster IMHO.

i think he needs to know how to move them from his card, to a folder on the phone.

i do mine like this. find the mp3 file on your card using file explorer. click the file and hold, copy. then go to my device. my documents, my ringtones. then paste.

Thanks thats even easier....I switched from a Treo 755p to the Mogul so I'm still adjusting the Windows program. I'm loving it so far.
