Syncing Pocket PC contact to MS Outlook

My Outlook contacts would make duplicates after installing a new Rom and after I restored my phones contacts, etc using PPCPim...
So I archived and then deleted about 800 contacts in Outlook leaving Contacts folder empty on my Vista PC's Outlook. Then I deleted the relationship in activesync and reconnected to create new relationship. Everything finally worked so that my restored Touch Pro phone with contacts synced into Contacts folder in Outlook.

NOw my issue: I added another contact, or rather I updated a contact on my Touch Pro. Then I resynced. I first got a sync error that the updated contact did not transfer to the computer. A look in the Outlook contacts confirmed that the old information was still present. So I tried to resync several times and the contact in Outlook won't update. Anyone got some help for me? Very frustrated. Thanks.

One more thing: I see in Activesync that my "Manage Partnership" settings is set to "replace items on device". But shouldn't there be an option to "replace most recent" or something along that line? But even with the setting where it is, the old contact information in the PC's Outlook is not transferring and replacing the newly updated contact information on the Touch Pro device.
