sprint to us cellular phone

i filed an insurance claim because i lost my sprint mogul. recently i found the lost mogul, but it has a bad esn now. is it possible to give it to my friend to use on his us cellular account if I unlock it?

I think someone just asked about activating a Sprint phone on US Cellular and others said it would be really tough if not impossible to do it.

Carla is right...the phone now has a "dirty" ESN and I don't think it can be activated on any network, unlocked or not...but im not positive thats the case, thats just my understanding and I very well could be wrong bro...
