Activating an Unlocked Phone
 

Where does one get an unlocked phone activated with a carrier besides ATT & Sprint, if the phone is different than the kind our normal carriers sellHow does one do that?

If it is an unlocked GSM phone then you merely insert your's SIM card and it should work with some possible tweaking of the settings. If it is a CDMA phone you will need your carrier to ad the ESN to their database and configure the phone to use that carrier's settings. I have never seen a true unbranded CDMA phone, meaning a phone that has never been assigned to a carrier for sale.
