text messaging

Hi i am new here and this is my first post...so please don't crush me too badly. Anyway i have a touch pro and lots of text messages get "lost" or delivered hours later. Does anyone know of a fix for this? Sorry if i posted this in the wrong forum. TIA

yup wrong forum!

But to help you out, you should have asked in the touchpro forum..

also, are you running your phone stock or did you flash a custom rom.

what carrier are you with.

and have you modified your phone in anyway? upgraded the radio? installed programs???

thanks for the help...mods please move this. i am running a custom rom on sprint. and haven't done anything other than add the newest mighty rom. it was doing this before i even flashed it.

Well, you'll probably want to do a hard reset first of all.

there's 2 ways to do this:
go to start -> settings -> system and select "Clear Storage" and follow instructions, and yes you want to clear your NAND

OR

Turn off your phone
Hold the Volume down key, and the center/round/ok key (next to make and end call), and while holding those 2 without releasing press and hold the turn on phone key (pwr key). Release the pwr key, and keep holding the other 2, don't let go! then the phone will ask if you want to restore your phone, follow instructions and see what happens.

if problem persists, go to the thread where you downloaded that version of rom and ask for help there
