Here's a new question guys. What do you think Asurion would do if i sent them a sprint phone for replacement when i'm on alltel?

They would likely charge you with fraud or just maybe stupidity. You should just do what's right and stop trying to get around it.

Yep, a few years ago, a little drunk on a boat....well, lets just say I fell overboard....It was funny at the time but, my phone was not happy, one phone call, 24 hours and $50 later, I had a new phone...

why would you hope that?? and by the way, im not planning on any insurance fraud here, trust me. My phone was stolen and i had to make a claim once, and was kinda really bummed that the deductable had been amped up to 95 bucks instead of 50. Im only asking because i am using a sprint phone on alltel's network, and if something were to happen to it, i would hate to not be able to use the insurance that i pay 7 bucks a month for, just because of a branding.

I am with Sprint. My understanding is that whichever phone is activated will be covered at that time. I am not sure about your situation as I have never attempted to do this. Good luck.
