WM6.5 S2a without locking?

I would like to know if there is a way to use the new slide to answer built into 6.5 WITHOUT having to lock the phone with the built in locking app? I use touchlockpro for locking and prefer to keep this. I can install the s2a apps for the touch pro from the new manila version but this effects the call log though. Anyone figure out a way to do this yet?
