Touch diamond 2

Ive just ordered my diamond 2, so should have it in a couple of days.

Its my first win phone and while searching around the net i have come across this site.

Im a little confused, will all teh things posted in the touch diamond threads work for the touch dimaond 2?

My gut tells me that because it's a different device much of what is in the diamond thread will not work. Those with more knowledge should be able to be more specific.
