Re: PPC / WinMo Preferences

@ blasphemous_prime: Thanks for the addition .

@ AxeYrCat: So was the old Palm OS just more user friendly compared to WinMo (6.1 and/or 6.5)?

@ moonzbabysh: Fair enough. What exactly do you like about the Tegra though? Responsiveness? Live multi-tasking? Graphics?

@ facemob: What exactly did you like about Palm?

@ rafyrod: So what platform do you think provides the most stability and why? If I had to guess, I'd say BlackBerry though.

@ hibby50: Yep, I'm pretty sure I know why (I'm on the same boat) .

@ AB33: Gotcha, WinMo for multi-tasking.
As for the Push thing, isn't forwarding all your accounts to (for example) Mail2Web and having it Push it to your phone essentially the same thing?
By responsiveness, I meant G1, Storm (when it works) or iPhone responsiveness; the king you can only get with a Capacitive screen.

Re: PPC / WinMo Preferences

For all you guys voting for Palm, if you don't mind being known, would you post whether you prefer the Treo OS or the new WebOS?

Re: PPC / WinMo Preferences

i wonder if ppc users are anti iphone...jus because.

i've never really used one but from the few minutes that i did...and from all i seen and read, it appears to be the next best.

i prefer android over palm os. but not sure about android and apple...cause i'm not familiar enough with apple.

I wouldn't say anti-iphone, moreso anti-apple.

So what did you like about the Palm OS?

So what did you like about the Palm OS?
coming from a flip phone...palm os was AMAZING. i could believe what i was missing. i felt as if it was one of the greatest creations ever made.

and when i switched from palm os, to windows mobile....i had those exact same thoughts again. the palm phone did 4 or 5 times as much as my flip, and the windows phone did 4 or 5 times the palm.

so guess it depends on what level u on...if u're going from nothing to a palm pda...the thing is great, but from a more advanced pda like wm, to a palm pda.....nothing's great about it.

If that's how you feel, imagine how it was for me going from a flip (SPH-A900) to a Touch Pro....

So overall, you like the functionality and customization capabilities of your PPCs?
