Help with today screen issue

Hey there... I'm hoping someone can help me with my 6900. I installed the Omnia today plugins. In playing with them, I set up the Samsung 2 today screen and my phone lock-up a bit. I can still engage touch flo, open programs from there, etc. But the start menu is not responding. It's almost as though WM itself is not responding. I am getting an error report message of "an problem has occurred with shell32.exe"

My question is... How can I disable the today plugin from regedit? I have a regeditor that I can run from my desktop so I might be able to edit them even though WM start menu is locked.

Or maybe there is a file or folder I can delete/change from active sync to prevent me from having to hard-reset.

Any ideas?

Any speedy help would be extremely appreciated.

Re: Help with today screen issue

Ok... Figured it out...

I used CERegEditor to edit the following registry (in essence turning off Samsung Today 2):

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Today\Items\ Samsung Today 2

I changed "Enabled" from 1 to 0 and soft-reset...

Oh, I did have to "unlock" the registry before it would allow me to edit it.
