Activating different phones on different carriers

I have a question, and I am hoping that you all can help me. I have been researching that the Rhodium is coming possibly to both Sprint or Verizon. But I was wondering, if I bought the device from Sprint and I wanted to activate the device on my Verizon account, how would i do that?

I know I can unlock the phone, and put the correct software ROM on it, but is there anything else that I need to do?

you would need VZN to except the ESN to there database, which is the trickiest part.

That is the part that I was afraid of. I imagine I would have to talk to someone in tech support but i don't want it to be obvious that it is an ESN from another carrier.

they will know as soon as they put it in the computer if the esn is for there database or another company's. The Sprint TP was for a little while able to get put on it but i believe theyve stopped that and taken them off there system if for some reason the phone was hard reset it wouldnt aquire the network, someone please correct me if i am wrong.
