Help with GPRS on HTC Touch

Hi..

Can anyone help at all..

I cannot connect to any satellites.. it says initializing GPRS but then nothing happens so I cannot use Google Maps properly.. I called the network Provider they say it's nothing to do with them... I've re installed Google Maps but still not working.. Does anyone one have any ideas please?

I think you may be confused.

GPRS - General Packet Radio Service - a 2G data network used on GSM networks.

GPS - Global Positioning System - A system of satelites used for finding positions.

Which are you having trouble with?

If it's gps, have you flashed your touch with a rom that unlocks the GPS function? If not than that's your first step, an updated OEM rom should be available on HTCs site, or you can flash with any 3rd party rom with it enabled.
