Where did the ppc jargon originate?

Cooks, chefs, and kitchens?

I first found this forum when searching for tweaks for my first PPC (htc touch pro - sprint).

I had never used custom roms or flashed a phone or anything. When I was reading the htc touch pro section I wasn't sure if I was on a PPC forum or a home cooking recipe forum.

I'm a little bored and curious so I thought I would ask.

:)
