Recommend me a super phone with slide out keyboard and GSM+CDMA.
 

I need to upgrade from my HTC Titan. I'm about to chuck it against a wall.

I want a phone that has:

Touchscreen
Slide out keyboard
Easily assessible GPS
GSM+CDMA for flexible international use
Solid connectivity. I hate my Titan because its bluetooth is very tempermental, it can't create its own ad hoc network so WMWifiRouter doesn't work, and it randomly disconnects from activesync when on usb or bluetooth, screwing up PDANet.

Touch Pro?

from my understandin th GSM+CDMA is pretty much an oxymoron, there completly diffrent networks with diffrent frequencys. someone correct me if im wrong. other than that ide probly say a GSM Touch Pro.

I'm pretty sure you are right! For interantional use, GSM probably is the way to go. Personally, I would wait for the Tegra-based Devices, nvidia is suggesting they be put out for $99 later this year...I'll post the latest news real soon!

Looks like the HTC Touch Pro supports both CDMA and GSM:

That's either/or, not both in the same device. HTC makes both versions of the Touch Pro.

thats wcdma, not the same as cdma. it sounds to me like your looking for a phone that will work on both networks. maybe im wrong though.

well, if you're goin gsm, the hopeful touch hd pro when it makes it's appearance... if u want cdma and gsm, that alone is gonna seriously narrow down ur options

Steal Barack Obama's phone. It has both a CDMA and GSM radio in it. :lol: Seriously though, the Samsung SCH-W619, Samsung SCH-A795, Samsung SCH-i830, S-xgen Umpc, and BlackBerry 8830 all support dual GSM and CDMA standards. These are true "world phones".
