windows live

ok i'm honestly about to throw this phone in the garbage. I don't understand why microsoft has to make things so confusing. how can I get windows live on a samsung saga? the only option I can find is the web based and I don't want that. I want the push email and the messenger client. where do I get these from?

btw, that download is only a search bar on the home screen. i can't believe that microsoft doesn't support windows live messenger or email on a windows mobile phone.

Re: windows live

just add you windows live email in the messeging program, and it will automatically configure windows live for you.

since installing that application when i try to set it up now it says "setting found for live.com. tap next to download email and settings" and when i tap next, it just goes back to the account picker for messaging and the live.com isn't there.

Even better, setup a Gmail account, then setup your Hotmail/MSN/Live accounts to forward all emails to your Gmail account.

Then use IMAP on the phone (have to enable in Gmail) to pull down email.

I started doing this after trying out the Live application. What a BLOATED piece of carp!

Here's the thread of my adventure:

I'm not sure that there are any smartphones that are compatible with Windows Live. I think it's only available on phones that have WM Professional (touch screens).
