Question XT9 backup...

Is there an app that can be used to backup/restore your XT9 settings when using the default HTC full/compact/ and phone keypad keyboards? As some may know, when you do alot of flashing/cooking roms it wipes out the learned words!

Anybody got some pointers on what they do to avoid reentering their words each and every time?

TIA Naut.

Re: XT9 backup...

I'll see if I can get an answer tonight for ya. I seldomly give my device a chance to learn cause I'm always flashin!

OK, the files that seem to change are:
\windows
et9AsDb.Adb
et9cdb.cdb
et9Rubd.rdb <-- contains word I added...

Try backing up those three, certainly some complex database and index files. Let us know if it works!
