Cooking WM Roms on Cheap Chinese WinCE devices

How easy is to cook a custom WM 6.1 ROM on a Cheap Ebay GPS PNA, Windows CE PDA or Single Din Car Stereo.

I've seen some single din Chinese car stereos and PDAs that run WinCE 4.2 or 5 with Igo. They're not running Windows Mobile (with Today screen).

Are there any wikis or discussion on these cheap no-name devices. I see a lot of people unlocking MIO PNA GPS devices so I think it is entirely possible.

Microsoft only required PPCs to be flashable in the last CE version (2003?), so there is a good chance the devices don't support flashing, especially if they are knockoffs...

Even if they are flashable, unless you have access to drivers for the devices, and they have enough Flash memory to support the OS, you won't be getting too far without breaking some functionality... If you have an exact model number, it would be easier to work out what is possible...
