Re: NEW TO PPCGEEKS! (And lost!)
the best thing I can tell you is read read read. download ppcpimbackup or somehow else backup your contacts and make sure all the files you want to keep are on your sd card. once you have done that as long as you stick to just installing programs you can hard reset and clear out and programs that run amok. once you get really comfortable with installing programs flashing new roms is really quite easy. but make sure you visit the vogue section often and read read read. its usually scary the first time but once you visualise all your doing you will have that 'DUH' moment.

Re: NEW TO PPCGEEKS! (And lost!)
Welcome to PPC Geeks! Below is the link to the Touch forum...
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/forumdisplay.php?f=48 and here is the link to the Touch Upgrade forum http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/forumdisplay.php?f=59 You should be able to find a lot of information in both of those forums.. The first thing you will want to do is unlock your phone. Here is a great FAQ about the HTC Vogue.. Most of your questions should be answered in here... http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=11154 If you are unsure of anything, it's best to ask questions... We here at PPC Geeks are very open to helping people out.. Also, I would recommend using the search function... Most questions you ask have probably been answered already... I wish you the best of luck in customizing your HTC Touch... |
