Upgrade Policy

So... can anyone reiterate on how this works?

My contract has ended. I am still using service.
I am eligible for a $150 discount when I sign a new contract.

Now, lets say the Touch Pro is $549.
I get $150 off.
Price: $399

Now, do I also get a mail-in-rebate? Or is that only for new customers?

So basically, am I missing out on any discounts by renewing my contract? Should I cancel first and then become a customer again?

Just trying to plan my course of action... TIA!

I agree with Madman...MIR and your Sprint discount are two totally different things.

Ya you'll get the mail in. Last week a friend upgraded 2 of his lines with the Touch.
After a new 2 year contract he walked out paying $99 each AFTER his mail in rebate.

full discounts...you would be treated as a new customer, considering you sign a new 2-yr agreement.
