Sprint Phone as Modem
 

Can anyone tell me if sero is supposed to include "phone as modem"?

I entered the reg. hack and the phone connects, but, xp won't get IP.

I called sprint, got a know-it-all lady who didn't and no clear answer.

Help?

phone as modem is not included in sero. but you can still use it for free.

Thank you, that is good to know, however, do you have any idea why I can't get an IP? It sends and receives packets (very slowly on the receive side) but fails to dhcp.

you have to make sure that its set to use SPRINT PCS on the connection, not Phone as Modem. At least thats what Ive read in other threads.

There is also the prerequisite that one is smart enough to open a hole in the firewall to accomodate the traffic.......duh....Thanks to all
