1000mah USB sync&charge

USB sync and charge with 1amp :headbang:

I know this has been brought up a few times over the months, and I remembered seeing this, but I just ran into it again so I thought I'd post. I just ordered one for myself. (good site for other stuff too.)

Re: 1000mah USB sync&charge

Are there any car chargers that provide 1 amp? I actually have mine mounted on my motorcycle for GPS, music, and the screen is as bright as it can be set and usually end up running into the situation where my phone will die somewhere along the way or shortly after it is disconnected.

I also use an older battery when I mount it on my motorcycle since I frequently disconnect it when I leave my bike and don't want to screw up a new battery with a bunch of charge cycles.

Does anyone have any suggestions for this situation? I would think anyone using their Mogul for GPS in a car would run into a similar situation.

TIA.

I've heard the average highend GPS (usb) car charger is 1A...

If you can find a changer that has two (or more) independant USB ports, would can use a hard drive USB cable to bridge the 2 ports to give you 1A...

garbage! worth $7 just for all the connectors. I need to do a few more tests, but I'm pretty sure I will be hacking this apart to suit my needs (mainly charging 2 phones, and headset)
I'll report back after all my testing is done.
