Apple OS on PPC
 

Would it be technicly possible to flash a ppc phone with a rom of apple's OS (a.k.a. iPhone software)???

Good. So forget about the iphone. Actually, ROMS are device specific. So it is really imposible to put OSX on the phone. It will take a lot of time to do and a huge lawsuit. I actually thought of this before but I really think it's imposible unless somebody comes up with an emulator or build the OS from scratch that looks and functions like Iphone's using maybe linux.like what they did with android. So I say no dice as of now. U can use Iphone theme for the mean time. There's a lot floating around.

U cant save a picture u see on the internet. you cant copy and paste text from the browser. (maybe a hack out for that now) you cant do ALOT of stuff u can do with WM. so I ask why?

ask yourself what u like about the apple OS or whatever. If it mainly the web browser then you should know that there are MANY webrowsers out there that work very well for the PPC. no other phone has the multi-touch screen, and probably wont for a while. but that is hardware.

some people are working on getting linux to work on the phones.

others are getting googles android to work on the phones.

i dont know about yall but i love my right-click :)

thanks for the info. i dont really care for the theme. i tried them all and they're not really nice. i like the real iphone interface and yeah i was thinking about an emulator. thats all i like... i think it be challenging to make that work
