nextel text messaging

does anyone know the reason that text messages from nextel phones show up so odd on other carriers? I know its just lame technology on nextels part but does anyone have a more accurate description of what's going on?

I don't use nextel or sprint but could you be a bit more specific on the issue

It is weird, but I think it has something to do with the web based delivery. It shouldn't do that when everyone switches over to Hybrid phones.

Also not sure why this is in the HTC Titan forum.
