Memory Card

I recently just bought an 8gb memory card for my XV6700, however it does not read it. When I put in a 1 gb memory card it reads it, or if I put my 8gb in my friends' phones it works. Does anyone know if my style of phone just isn't compatible w/ 8gb or whats the deal?

Re: Memory Card

It would seem that way.
I know older models of any device may not work with the newer larger mem cards.

Re: Memory Card

Quite a few WM5 devices seem to have an issue reading anything 4GB or more. I don't believe this is a problem with WM6. There is a patch available, which I've attached. Extract the zip file, copy the .cab to your device, and run from your device.
