What text messaging services do you use?

I just a got a new plan w/ Sprint that includes unlimited text messages and was just curious about what services people are using. I just signed up for daily weather forecasts from weather.com
You can subscribe to their service (its free) and they send you a text message everyday (or days you select) at a time you select with a 36 hour forecast. I also get the weather at that instant too. What other services are there?

Uhmm I actually signed up last night for SciFi Channel alerts last night! I know it's not really a service, but I just got hooked o Battlestar Galactica so it comes in handy.

Thats cool! I didn't know you could do that for tv shows. I should check some that I watch to see if they do that. I guess I should have clarified a bit. It doesn't necessarily have to be a service. Really, I'm looking for anything that sends alerts or reminders or is a service as well. A reminder for when a tv show is one would be great. I just signed up for another one through Progressive Insurance to remind me when to pay by bill each month.

First you log in, then at the top of the page to go Site Map, and find Update User Profile. There should be a link that says Change your email/mobile preferences. Let me know if you have problems finding it.
