HTC Home alignment on Today Screen.

I was wondering if anybody knew of a way to have the HTC home plugin show up on the bottom of the today screen instead of the top. (It's the only today plugin I am using.) The reason being that the top half of the plugin is mostly transparent and it would look much better for wallpapers this way.

Re: HTC Home alignment on Today Screen.

I don't know how to do that but I just use Ultimate Launch and have my home screen blank. When I want HTC Home I just switch to a diffent tab. This way the screen is "blank" and the wallpaper is clearly visible. One swipe of the finger and I'm @ the home plugin.

HKLM\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\TODAY\ITEMS\PLUGIN NAME

Change TYPE from 5 to 4

then install the spacer file ive attached and play around with the settings until you get it to where you want it. Hopefully this will help!

Re: HTC Home alignment on Today Screen.

Easy registry edit. HKLM/software/microsoft/today/items/HTC Home and change type to 4. Unlocks it to be put anywhere. I use it as a tab plugin with SPB pocket plus.

WOW. Thanks for all the responses!!! This forum is off the hook!
FWIW. I am using an HTC Touch from Bell Mobility.
Thanks nxtech! That was precisely what I was looking for.

Re: HTC Home alignment on Today Screen.

I'm having a problem with it now. After a soft reset, the HTC home plugin will be back at the top. But if I go in to the today settings and change something to make the today screen refresh it goes back to how I want it.
Is there anyway to force it to use my settings after a reset so I don't have to do it manually every time?

Re: HTC Home alignment on Today Screen.

Nevermind. I solved it. I just changed the spacer and HTC Home back to type 5 in the registry and put spacer above HTC home. I had them at type 4 before.

Thanks again!
