CDMA vs GSM Phone Parts
 

In lieu of the recent talk about the Touch Pro with Sprint [and their pathetic move on making it burgundy and removing the diamond battery cover] I was thinking...

Are the external parts like the battery cover interchangeable between CDMA and GSM devices? Like if I wanted to buy the GSM textured battery cover off of ebay... And put it on my CDMA Touch Pro, would it fit?

Was there a GSM 6700? Someone could check the dimensions of that one and see if it would fit a CDMA 6700 for example...


IDK... I'm pretty furious that Sprint made it BURGUNDY! WTF?!

Well anyway... I'll see what I can do to calm myself

Are you talking about the touch pro or the touch diamond?

Touch Pro for Sprint is burgundy and both the Diamond AND the Pro have flat backs for Sprint.

just curious, where'd you see that? and to answer one of your original questions i think the gsm version of the 6700 was the ATT 8525 but it's form factor is more like the mogul than the 6700
