Exclamation gmail dissapearing

Ok, here is my problem, when using a windows mobile phone, I have trouble with gmail. The trouble is that I have it set to look every 15 mins for email, well overnight it looks and then the next time it looks it erases the email from the time before. There has to be a setting, every windows phone I have had does this. I do not want it to erase unread email. What do I need to do???????

Don't know exactly which one I am using. It is dissapearing from the phone, and on the PC it shows as read. It seems like it checks the mail, then downloads it to my phone, then if I don't look at it before it checks again (15 min's later) then it deletes it from the phone upon next check. Its not a problem during the day, but I leave the phone on overnight and wake up and there is no email left on the phone.

Re: gmail dissapearing

Sounds like you have POP access. You will want to set it up using IMAP as the protocol.
