Hello,

I have a T-Mobile Wing ( I know it sucks LOL), I had to get my phone replaced and in the midst of re-installing things I had on my phone before...

When I got to re-install opera mini 4.1, it wouldnt let me. Saying ,my phone is incompatible? I had it on my previous phone, although I suspect it may have been the beta? The only version I was able to get off of the opera site was mini 3.1, which SUCKS. All it has is single column view with no zoom

In my searching of the threads I saw a post saying net front released a new version; I have my Wing overclocked to 247mhz with a 6mb page pool

Will the latest version of netfront work stable on my device ( last time I tried it it was very unresponive on my phone, though its a neat browser)

OR

Is there any way to install a recent version of Mini on my phone? So far, that has been my best web browsing experience on my Tmobile Wing

I think the only Opera mini that works on WinMo is the modified one. Try the search button. Opera mini's are built for regular cell phones like razr's and the likes. The Opera version for PPC's is the Opera mobile which u can also find in this site. Look for Opera 9.5. U will love it. it has pan and drag scroll just like in the safari but better. Use search button pls. It's not hard.

I did use the search topic, but I couldnt find a thread with a similar issue, since the Wing Forum isnt very active it seems, my apologies not trying to create unnecesary threads , but I thought it was a legit question since I downloaded my previous Opera Mini from the opera mini website itself, it was mini 4.0 and now when try to download from the website it says my phone is not compatible

If you can find a thread with this topic then please point me in the right direction because I sure didnt see it after a searched a few times

Ok here. This came from our comrades from xda. I told u that Opera mini is for regular cell phones so this one is mdified for winmo's. It will install some more needed files to run it. Check the site for more infos. Hit that T if it helps

Thanks a lot man I appreciate the help, btw I also tried the Opera 9.5 1126 build and its pretty sweet id thought it would run much slower on my wing

it opens pages faster than Pocket IE and I can even manage my fantasy team which I cant do on opera mini, there I can only view things but not manage

Thanks a lot man, I really need to upgrade this phone, its my first venture into pocket pcs and I feel swindled by T-Mobile, soooo many great HTC devices and we get this? LOL I need something with at LEAST 400mhz, im teasing myself with this 247mhz

I told u opera mobile 9.5 is tha shiznit. I'm glad ur enjoying it. Well, The diamond will come to t-mobile too. Just wait. It has 528 mhz ans a whole lotta ram. 192mb if I'm not mistaken. No hard keyboard though.
