Uninstall Pocket IE?

Is it possible to uninstall or block access to Pocket IE? I know that it is part of the ROM, but there must be a way to get at it. One of our employees has a Verizon XV6700 that's used for business purposes, and I need a way so that he can access e-mail but not be able to use Pocket IE. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
