pc doesnt recognize phone

i plug in the mogul and all it does is charge nothing else. i re-installed windows mobile device center it doesnt see the phone the pc doesnt see the phone. my usb ports all work fine with other stuff and my micro sd works on its own. any ideas?

Try first:

Start ---> Settings ---> Connections ---> USB to PC ---> Turn off Advanced Networking Functionality.
