Help please

Ok, I left WM phones for a long time and now I am back. I cannot for the life of me remember how I installed cab files. I know there was a section of the forum that explained but can not seem to find it. Can someone please direct me. Thanks

Just download them and go to file
explorer and click on the downloded .cab

If you download them on your pc
just use activesync to pass them
to you wm phone.

Once you click on a .cab file
the phone should automatically
install the app on the file after
you decide where to install.

Hi Penny. There is a little app called Cab Installer. When started it gives you the option of associating cabs with the program and another tick box allows you to keep a copy of the cab file once it has been installed as normally cabs are deleted once they are installed. I keep a copy of all my programs in cab form on the SD card in case I ever have to do a hard reset. Cab Installer also allows you to choose the installation location with much greater precision. With this app you can create your own folders if you dont want to use the default folders or locations. Hope this helps.
