i just bought a htc mogul n the seller does not hv access to clear the esn number..wt to do?

if the seller cannot provide the ESN, I would be suspicious....Of course, I realize it's a little late to be telling you this now. Any legit seller would be able to direct you to this

If I were you, I would try and sell it to recoup some of your loss,then go buy another one. There are plenty of people who buy phones with bad ESN's on Ebay. The only other option I can think of is to clone the ESN of another mogul to that one. I won't buy a phone from someone unless they state it is clear.

Call customer care, sometimes they can clear an ESN but it depends on the circumstances. Ive seen ESN's cleared because the person bought the phone off a place like e-bay, so give it a shot.
